This series of scenes demonstrates the escalating problems caused for a patient by unresolved care team miscommunication and conflict. Both the escalating conflict and an alternative approach to conflict resolution are demonstrated. The videos were produced for University of Washington Medicine as part of an online training and assessment module on team conflict resolution and communication.
For this project, Cheryl worked with clinicians and researchers to write, direct and produce several video scenes modeling "best" and "less-than-best" communication between outpatient care team members.
